WCCC / Woodford Singers

WOODFORD COMMUNITY CULTURAL CONNECTIONS INC. came into existence following a suggestion from a local community group - Bush Family Connections (BFC) Neighbourhood Centre Inc. which had closed its doors and passed on a small amount of funds to David Berker (WCCC - President/Director) to use for a community purpose.
Following discussions it was decided that a Special General Meeting of BFC should be called and a new committee elected.
Once this had occurred the new committee decided to change the name of the organisation and its broad objectives. These changes were accepted by the Dept. Fair Trading and so Woodford Community Cultural Connections Inc. (WCCC) came to be.
The Woodford Singers and the newly formed theatrical group The Woodford Players now operate under the auspice of WCCC. The Woodford Singers have established a strong presence in the community with various performances since the formation of WCCC.
