Jammit Woodford

Latent musicians from around the area and abroad have dusted off their instruments, blown the cobwebbs out of their saxaphones and have lined up for a chance to become a local superstar.

The event has rekindled, musical aspirations in a number of people and provided an opportunity for emerging musicians to have an opportunity to learn new skills and tricks from veteran players.

What is Jammit:

Jammit is an all ages music night run by volunteers who hold music events every Thursday night at the Woodford Bowls Club. Musicians of every calibre have the opportunity to get together to perform and where the general public has the opportunity to see local musicians play.

The basic concept behind Jammit is for up and coming musicians and experienced musicians to have musical items prepared for presentation and book themselves in on the night into a timeslot where they perform on stage in a time efficient manner. Swap over time between acts can sometimes be as short as 20 seconds to keep the action moving for a fun and entertaining night.

If you don't play an instrument, come down to enjoy a free show and support members of your local community. There is food and drinks available to purchase. Bring along all your friends for a great time.
