The Listening Space

Transpersonal counselling is about helping you to move past something when you find yourself feeling stuck, lost or struggling to find your voice or direction. It is about transcending an experience and helping you to move forward once again, at a new and positive level of functioning. At the listening space, I facilitate emotion-focussed therapy - the core of my practice is emotional healing, through feeling rather than thinking. Often it is our own thoughts that bring us stress and our harshest judgements.

Teaching you that your healing is in your hands, within you, is a crucial facet of my practice. I employ a range of counselling and psychotherapy techniques available to me to facilitate deeper emotional healing. Most importantly it is an allowing space, allowing for your beliefs, your experiences and a space that allows for you to work at your own pace, in a manner you are comfortable with.

I offer Therapeutic Touch, working with the body's energy to alleviate stress anxiety and pain. As a healing modality Therapeutic Touch has been shown to be very effective in decreasing anxiety, decreasing stress, evoking the relaxation response, decreasing pain, and promoting wound healing. Therapeutic Touch as a method of healing, is used by both professionals in the health field and laymen in the community.

In addition to what I offer as Transpersonal Counsellor, I employ my skills as a Liquid Crystal Practitioner and Healer, using crystal remedies and crystal layouts to support people in their emotional growth, integration and transcendence. In my work as a Liquid Crystal Practitioner I approach healing utilising the body systems, current life experiences and with a focus on the 77 minerals that exist in our body. In all modalities, my approach strives for the same intended outcome - balance, integration and transcendence or transformation in your life. I am interested in facilitating your power to make a breakthrough rather than a breakdown in a challenging situation.
I offer a range of services to allow for different needs, spiritual beliefs and interests according to what you would like to work with or how you would like to work and explore.
