Surfrider Foundation - South Coast

We are a branch based organisation with 25 volunteer branches and beach representatives Australia-wide. We are also part of a global Surfrider family, with international affiliates worldwide.

The South Coast branch focuses on the coastal areas around the greater Wollongong area.

Here in the Wollongong area our waves and beaches are our lifeblood. They bring so much enjoyment to our day to day lives. We are lucky to be surrounded by the natural beauty of the ocean and the escarpment to remind us that nature is an integral part of our healthy lives.

The ethical and sustainable management of our coastlines is the right and responsibility of every individual and/or business that uses it. As a community, we must ensure that this remains true.

Surfrider Foundation South Coast is made up of passionate and dedicated surfers and beach goers that wish to form a voice for our community. Together, with your support we can ensure the health of our beaches and waves will be maintained for generations to come.
