Stuart Way - ACTON South West

Stuart Way loves his life in Busselton and is thrilled to be a part of the team at ACTON South West. He says he feels “pretty lucky“ to live in a town that is as friendly and community oriented as Busselton.

Stuart has led an interesting and varied life from a stint as a baker in Port Macquarie to work in the trucking transport industry in the Riverina where he operated a nationwide farm equipment haulage business. He has also managed fuel haulage for a Queensland-based company.

Stuart spent a happy childhood growing up with his farming family in the Riverina, New South Wales. He is warm, friendly and knows and loves farms and country life. A keen and talented footballer, Stuart spent two years in Sydney with the Sydney Swans on their rookie list, endeavouring to achieve the best in his sport. He still enjoys his sports, in particular the challenges they bring. His hobbies include AFL, golf, tennis and squash.

In 2009, Stuart and his wife moved to Busselton to give him the opportunity to work for BHP Port Headland as a fly-in -fly-out worker. Then, “in August 2010 we were blessed with our first child, who enticed me back to Busselton full time. My wife and I became the franchisee/owners of Bakers Delight Busselton which we ran from 2010 to 2015, in which in that time we had our second child” he said. Stuart relished that time baking, and cemented his place in the local community. “I had the privilege to meet the majority of the community. We took great pleasure in not only serving the locals, but in participating in grass roots football. We sponsored the junior and senior football clubs and we were also the main sponsor for the golf club. It was a way of showing our support to a community that has been so good to us” he said.

Stuart enjoys everything that Busselton has to offer. “The beaches, bay, ocean, farming and the overall beauty of the sites of the South West all combine to make it the ideal place to raise a family” he said.

When it comes to real estate, Stuart says “I’m an energetic, positive and easy going person. I pride myself on assisting sellers and buyers to make the decisions that will best suit them.”
He loves real estate and says that one of the most enjoyable parts is helping and advising people on how to prepare a home for sale. “It can be a tricky time, but we are here to make it as easy and stress free for you as we can. I’m a family man and I understand the challenges sellers face” he said.
