Shady Creek Equestrian Centre & Agistment

Shady Creek Equestrian Centre is set on 65 scenic acres at Darnum, just 90 minutes drive South East of Melbourne near Warragul. We are easily accessed, just 6km north of the Freeway on a sealed road.

We offer private and shared paddocks, large outdoor sand arena, hot/cold wash bays, 6 horse electric walker, large stable complex and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Our hot/cold wash down bays and stables make horse handling a breeze. We have a sand round yard, fully enclosed which is rubber lined with 5 foot fences.

The arena and round yard can also be hired on a casual basis by the hour. We welcome individuals or riding clubs to our property to hire our facilities.
Shady Creek Equestrian Centre is a haven for horses and riders alike. As we live on the property, 24 hours supervision is supplied. We cater for short or long term agistment , and offer personalized care for all horses from riding horses to retirees. We are able to cater for those wanting DIY care of their horses through to full care and everything in between.

All paddocks have electric fencing and some have shelters. All paddocks are accessed via laneways, making moving your horse easy and safe. Our private paddocks are generous sized and can accommodate one or two horses. Horses in a ‘shared paddock’ share a larger paddock with horses of differing owners. Each paddock is equipped with a self watering trough or a dam ensuring adequate water for your horse.
