The name ‘SANTOSHA’ is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘Contentment’… never having to ask ‘what if?’

This multi-award winning house, featured in numerous publications, such as ‘Australia’s Best Houses’, was designed by Paul Clout, Noosa, Australia. The resort feel and uniqueness of this property evoke a sense of tranquillity and leave one awestruck at the scale of its magnificent features. The extensive use of glass, timber, stone and water complement the relaxed island style feel of the property. Numerous timber and glass bridges, floating over water, also serve to emphasize the nautical touches in the design.

The house is north facing with uninterrupted views of the broadwater and a small island with a white beach across the water. The north-facing expansive waterway in front of the house provides a changing landscape of million dollar cruisers and yachts, serving as a backdrop for SANTOSHA’s private 12 meter pontoon. At other times it is so quiet that you may think you are at a secluded resort or holidaying on a large cruise liner, just leaving port.

The open plan living design with high vaulted timber ceilings, Hawaiian plantation fans, louvered windows for natural air flow and piped gas flares add to the ambiance of Island living. There are three entertaining decks, including a sundeck, timber deck with built-in seating and large under cover entertainment deck with wet bar.
