La Carreta

A Carreta (cart or oxcart) is used through most countries in Latin-America to transport fruit and vegetables by farmers to markets, and in some instances as a display point of sale in some cities. Carretas are widely known by the freshness of their products.

La Carreta is a Latin American inspired food truck. Our aim is to take on original recipes from Argentina to Mexico and give them a twist making them appealing and suitable for Australian’s palette, but always keeping the sense of Latin-American flavours.

We offer a standard menu but we will be always working on new dishes. So, if by any chance on one of your visits we don’t have that dish you are after, please try our special, you wont be disappointed.

We are based in the Freo area and some of the surrounding suburbs in Perth metropolitan area, but wait, we are “La Carreta” and we got wheels to move around. We will try to be in as many events as possible and will be more than happy to bring our food truck to your parties.
