Freedom Cycle System

The freedom system actually kicked off in 2008 on an autumn day in my home town whilst on a ride with my son- in- law. I had a moment to reflect on the water bottle and notice how scratched and damaged it was on the external surface...I thought "why did they do it like this....it would have been better like that" .....the ride continued and the alternative solution had emerged, yet quickly forgotten. Later that year..I was watching a criterium in our local town...some great riders were competing. I briefly noticed one of the professionals having some difficulty replacing their bottle into the cage...so difficult it fell to the pavement....I once again thought " it would be better like that".

I saw was the way the bottle attached to the bike. It sat in a cage....The way I viewed it, it would be more manageable to sit ‘on’ something rather than ‘in’ something.

¥ By placing the bottle ‘in’ a cage we limit function and design potential. The cage by design needs to be smaller than the bottle it holds...making it difficult to remove, and replace.
¥ The cage can only ever hold a bottle.
¥ The shape of the bottle is constrained by the shape of the cage. Bottle decals are hidden and damaged by the cage.
¥ The ‘Triangle’ is the most useful area on a bike to carry anything...but at the present it can only carry a water bottle!

At Freedom we have overcome the embedded problems to create a new way of hydration, but more importantly a new way of storage for your bike.
By securing the bottle internally we eliminate the shortcomings of the traditional system.
Internal mounting means we can create any accessory or bottle in any shape!
