BWHERE has been created by two mums in Australia. The app was made with several intentions in mind. First and foremost is safety. As we travel around this amazing and beautiful continent we leave behind our safety zones, our homes. Not very many of us are familiar with the changing environment and dangers that can occur as we move around this vast country, be it mountains, roads, beaches, rivers or deserts. Because of this, accidents can occur due to our lack of knowledge. BWHERE aims to help you stay informed whilst travelling in Australia.
BWHERE aims to educate people. While Australia has some of the world’s most poisonous and deadly animals and reptiles, with common sense and awareness your risk can be greatly reduced. BWHERE aims to help PREVENT injury and to give you guidance in the unlikely event you are bitten or stung.
We want you and your family to enjoy the experience of this great country while remaining safe and being vigilant.
Our animals are NOT lurking and waiting to attack, but sometimes when they feel threatened they do attack to defend their territory, their young or themselves. This is where we want to help every International and Domestic traveller in Australia learn what to do and not to do when they are in unfamiliar areas.
BWHERE strives to give up to date first aid for over 60 different scenarios including animal bites and stings. We are hoping that you won’t need the first aid, as your travels will be fun and safe. But we aim to offer relevant and accurate first aid advice for our users be it a snake bite in Tasmania or a Jellyfish sting in Darwin.
BWHERE understands how much your money means to you. For your one off payment for this app you will have no annoying irrelevant popup ads ever. We’ve chosen our banner sponsors very carefully to ensure complete usefulness and relevance to you, our users.
BWHERE will continue to be updated throughout its life and for your onetime payment you’ll have access to many useful features. We can assure you, we already have plans for future updates and features. BWHERE also values your feedback and suggestions immensely, so please use the CONTACT US link to send your ideas straight to us.
There are several different ways to use BWHERE. The first is via your GPS. Using this feature will allow you to see what is in your exact area, with the push of one button. You can also search what you are interested in by typing a name into the search box, for example Inland Taipan or Sydney Funnel Web Spider. Travellers can also enter their itinerary destinations so alerts can be sent as you move from one destination to another. . This is done by selecting ITINERARY and entering your details in the given boxes. You can then adjust what time you would like to receive your notifications.
BWHERE wants every traveller to enjoy their holiday and not spend it in a hospital waiting room or worse. While deaths due to animal bites and attacks are rare, it does happen. PLEASE always pay attention to signage. Even if it appears old and dated. If the sign says CROCODILES, DO NOT SWIM.
Some people will even take these signs home as trophies or mementos so it pays to be informed before you arrive. Sometimes signs may appear old and rusty, regardless you must observe signs while travelling in Australia. Thousands of tourists are hospitalised every year. Do not become one of those statistics.

BWHERE wishes you and your family the very best holidaying experience possible.
