Zentvelds are the Australian Coffee Specialists, based on the family plantation in the hills behind Byron Bay. Since 1993 we have been dedicated to producing the finest and most complex 100% Australian coffee roasts and blends, for cafes, guesthouses, fine food retailers, home & office.
Our locally grown coffees are able to benefit from rich volcanic soil and plentiful moisture. The cooler microclimate of the NSW North Coast induces a slower ripening season, developing characteristic sweetness and naturally low caffeine in our quality arabica coffee. Our plantation and the other local estates we buy beans from are practically organic - free of harmful sprays, using natural mulch, ground covers, our own coffee waste compost and organic fertilzers, for sustainable land management.
With 22 years of experience we present Australian coffee at its best, with industry wide recognition as leaders in the local coffee industry and awards from national fine food competitions across Australia. All our coffees are vacuum packed, roaster fresh into customised bags with one way degassing valves, locking in flavour and aroma for lasting freshness.
As specialist coffee roasters we compliment our coffees with our extensive range of barista supplies : delicious chocolate espressobeans, fine leaf teas & infusions, organic or superb dark G.F & D.F drinking chocolate, chai and flavour syrups.
