Youth Emergency Services

Youth Emergency Services (YES) is one of Brisbane’s leading and most innovative specialist youth homelessness services providing individually tailored programs to 15 to 25 year olds.

We are a niche provider that understands that the provision of accommodation is merely the vehicle that allows us the opportunity to build a young person’s capacity, reconnecting them to community and intervene in the cycle of homelessness. This is achieved through our unique client engagement framework that recognises a healthy respectful relationship is the key in supporting a young person’s successful transition into adulthood and sustaining long-term tenancy.

We provide young people with information and resources that assist them to make personalised decisions and life choices. Our clients say we are non-judgemental – we assist them to take the next step in life by making their own choices. Our programmes include three houses on Brisbane’s northside incorporating two transitional homes, at Sandgate and Nundah, the vital immediate response accommodation services at Windsor and our financial assistance program.
