Yoga Grace

Yoga Grace is owned and operated by Lou Kenny, who is a trained but uncertified Iyengar yoga teacher, also teacher trained in Sakshin Ghatasha yoga. It has been point out to me that there are only 4 certified Iyengar teachers in the region, and i deliberately are not one of those, although i an often invited to fill in at Iyengar schools.
I chose not to do certification after my Iyengar teacher training which would've then dictated to me that that would be the only style of yoga i could teach. I chose to study other forms of yoga, including Sakshin Ghatastha, Shadow Yoga, Okido and am still exploring...i just completed a prenatal yoga course at One Heart Yoga with Anahata.....my journey continues.....Yoga Grace has a small studio, fully equipped with all Iyengar props, ropes, bolsters, halsana benches, blanket, mats etc......we also conduct seasonal sessions at the beach in Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads, with Louise, Libby, Abby and Sigrid all qualified yoga teachers in different styles, but with a common thread - an overall sense of honest real down to earth love and connection for all, and the freedom to express and teach in whatever style we chose that fits the participants in front of us on any given day.
