Yindi Locks Dreadlocks was created to share the art of dreadlocks created using natural organic methods.

We are located int he peaceful suburb of Mount Tamborine the hustle and bustle. We provide a relaxed environment where you can chill out & listen to tunes while you have your dreadlocks created and cared for.

Our talented Dreadlock artist, Bess, is passionate about dreadlocks and has been professionally trained in the art of Natural Dreadlock creation by Sam of The Dread Shed Dreadlocks making sure she starts you on your dreadlock journey with confidence.

Your dreadlocks will be created using our unique 3 step process that creates a solid structure to your Dreads

No wax, glues, chemicals, backcombing, breakage or loss of length is involved in this process.


We charge $40 per hour maintenance.

New Dreads:

Dreadlock installs can take anywhere from 3 - 9 hours, depending on the length of your hair and the dreadlock size you have in mind.

Full maintenance generally takes 2 hours-4 hours - time can vary according to your needs and length of your dreadlocks. Whatever the problem, it can be fixed. Maintenance involves tightening of new growth and pulling in all loose hairs as well as fixing lumps. We only use our natural hook technique during maintenance.
