Yera Cottage Rushworth

'Yera' is a self-contained miners cottage located in the historic town of Rushworth in central Victoria approximately 2 hours from Melbourne. The cottage is set on one acre of land approximately 1km or 15 minutes walk from the high street of Rushworth.

The cottage was built in the 1940s by a retired miner and was consequently built in the style of miners cottages from Rushworth’s gold rush era of the later 1800s. In addition to the cottage is a well treed cottage garden and a native bush paddock at the rear.

The cottage can accommodate 4 people comfortably with 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. It has a fully fenced yard and is subsequently pet friendly.

Ideal as a weekend base for exploring the historic township of Rushworth or accessing the regions of Bendigo, Echuca and Shepparton. Also ideal for longer periods for those looking for a base for artistic pursuits or time to relax and recharge.
