Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe Cafe

Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe Cafe is the place to go for great coffee, yummy food & treats....& of course Bike Hire! We are located in a 150yr old building in the beautiful village of Bundanoon, in the Southern Highlands of NSW.

Our extensive menu offers a variety of homemade meals including all day breakfasts, tempting lunches & fresh sandwiches. Our cake fridge is always stocked with the yummiest sweet stuff & we always have plenty of gluten or dairy free options available.

We take our coffee very seriously & only use the delicious beans from the award winning Rush Roasting Co. Locally roasted in Bowral. If coffee's not your thing, then enjoy an old fashioned, malted milkshake or relax with a pot of tea.

The Cafe is a family friendly cafe with toys, books & games for the kids & free WIFI for the big kids. Great souvenirs & gift ideas including local arts/crafts & music, T-Shirts, Cycle Jerseys & Bundy on Tap bottles. We offer indoor & outdoor seating, Bookings are accepted & BYO wine/beer welcome. We can cater for larger groups & YOBS can be hired for private functions.

Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe is famous for its bike hire. We hire a variety of awesome bikes by the hour, half day, full day & so on. (see Bike Hire page) We also sell bike parts & more including tubes, pumps, lube & repair kits.

BIKE HIRE
Ater more than 50 years, Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe is still hiring out bicycles. We have bikes, plus extra bits & pieces to rent, for any length of time & we stock several sizes to suit most age groups. We also sell bike spares such as tubes, pumps, repair kits etc. We have maps for the local rides & we sell the latest edition of the Southern Highlands Trails map

Mountain Bikes
If its a casual ride along the local trails & roads or to let go on some challenging single track through the state forest, The Trek 3900 is perfect. This awesome MTB has a lightweight, alloy frame & 8, easy to use, Shimano gears, Tektro V brakes & great suspension.

Family Extras
For the family we have a few options, depending on the size of the children.
For the babies & toddlers up to 20kgs we have a MTB with a baby seat carrier attached.
For younger children we have a weather proof trailer which holds 2 toddlers/small children, side by side (total weight 40kgs). The trailer attaches to a MTB & is pulled along behind. We also have a trailer bike (its like a kids bike without the front wheel). It attaches behind a MTB & tags along. Its for 4-10yr olds.
We have kids bikes to suit all ages including bmx's, tricycles & bikes with training wheels!

The Cafe can cater for larger groups & can organize a bike tour to suit your needs. Just give us a call or drop us a line.

Why not hire a bike & have a picnic in the park? We offer packed picnic lunches with everything you need including lunch, drinks, treats & of course a picnic blanket.
