Xchngd Youth- Coastwide Church

XCHNGD Youth is the Youth Ministry of CoastWide Church. It for all teens in age between 12-16 years who have or are prepared to Xchngd one way of life for a better more fulfilling life in Jesus Christ (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

Why XCHNGD YOUTH
1. The adolescent stage is a most critical phase in every person’s life.
2. Youth face more complex issues today than previous generation
3. The future of any society, nation or church depends on the vision and vitality of its youth.
4. Youth have a hunger for connection, to be in relationship and fellowship, and to belong.
5. We need to reach our kids now; if not others (the drug dealer, gang member etc) will.

OUR AIMS:
1. We seek to build a spiritual foundation in the lives of each youth to raise a generation of true believers who are courageous in their faith and able to joyfully communicate that faith to those they encounter in their daily walk.
2. To develop youth who will love the Lord our God, serve Jesus Christ through worship, gifts, obedience, and Godly character.
3. maximizing their God-given potential, in all areas of their lives – spiritually, physically, socially and academically

STRATEGIES
By the direction of the Holy spirit: through
1. prayer,
2. study of the word of God,
3. fellowship with others,
4. Witnessing to peers
5. Social and community service
6. Live and lead by example through the inspiration of the holy spirit
7. Support of parents and family members
