Wycliffe Retreats

Only 40 minutes out of Melbourne city, set in the idyllic rolling hills of the Nillumbik region sits the Wycliffe National Centre, Kangaroo Ground. Retreats@wycliffe would love to host you, or your group, in our on-site accommodation and conference facilities, be it for a day trip, a weekend or a week. For Wycliffe Partner Churches and Organisations, whether for your own personal getaway or a place to take your staff/leadership team, you will find the peace and space that you need within the beautiful bush surroundings of the area.

Group Retreats (for up to 80 people)


Retreats@Wycliffe offers conference facilities and accommodation for up to 80 guests with both fully equipped ensuited-rooms available as well as rooms with shared facilities. Communal lounge areas for group meetings are also available along with conference facilities including a chapel, conference room, dining area, breakout rooms, BBQ facilities and industrial kitchen. Catering at various levels may also be requested, subject to availability, or hire the kitchen and bring your own cook.

Individual Retreats

If you need to get away from the chaos of life and ministry for a time of retreat, silence, study, contemplation, relaxation, then Retreats@Wycliffe is all about providing such a space for you. Come and retreat in a cosy, isolated, fully-equipped cabin overlooking the new Wycliffe Chapel and the beautiful tree surrounds. Self-guided retreat material is available on request should you be looking for some intentional direction during your stay as well as the new chapel for focused times of silence, prayer and contemplation.

Artistic Retreats

Are you an artist, a musician, a writer, a creative looking to get away to work on your latest project? Retreats@Wycliffe can provide such a space for you. Come and work on your artistic creation in the Wycliffe Artist Studio whilst staying in a cosy, isolated, fully-equipped cabin overlooking the new Wycliffe Chapel.
