Wychwood Forest Escape is a privately owned 130 acre property with ridgelines producing towering Eucalypts, Tallowwood, Ironbark, Mahogany to valleys of sub tropical rainforest with hidden plam valleys and waterfalls. The property is a protected high biodiversity area with native vegetation, including riparian zones and healthy populations of Koala's, Swamp Wallabies, Possums, Bandicoots, Echidnas, Land Mullets, Lace Monitors, Water Dragons, an array of native Birdlife, Glow Worm Colonies, micro bats and so much more. We have a strong commitment to enhancing biodiversity of the property and the region. Wychwood values the viability of native vegetation and wildlife corridors in the Tweed Valley and works with Bush Regenerators to provide the management of noxious weeds and the planting of additional trees to support wildlife populations. Wychwood is an active member of the Tweed Valley Wildlife Carers, we rehabilitate and release injured wildlife on the property.
