The Wrightway contribution to driver training in Western Australia has been considerable. In 2003 it was the first organisation to introduce new heavy vehicles in WA driver training. Subsequently, Wrightways financial investment in training vehicles has been considerable. These modern vehicles are designed to help drivers develop the skills that are necessary to meet the needs of industry.

This specialised expertise is now reflected in the quality enhancement system that has become known as the integrated training system for Australian drivers. ITS for Australian drivers has a substantial quality training and assessment methodology system that supports its credibility. It is called Priority driver ©.The Priority driver system has evolved from its origin in the year 2000 to encourage drivers to focus on low risk driving strategies.

Priority driver now encourages drivers to apply safe driving behaviours at all times whilst driving. This is a structured system to aid drivers to develop from car driving to professional multi combination driving. In many ways this is a lifelong training program for wise drivers.

Overarching the student development skillways is the development system for trainers and assessors and others employed within this unique quality training process. Success as a driver is not achieved by simply passing a driving test. True success is achieved through a driver's lifelong development process, where skill is enhanced on a regular basis.
