At "World's End"

Apocalyptic storms travel violently uphill
Hail, rain, wind, then serene and still...
Clouds pass over head, watch them sail away
You can always count on seeing four seasons in one day

Serpents dance, eagles soar, foxes hunt
Possums growl, Koalas graze and Kangaroos grunt
Rabbits hide in burrows, deep under tree roots
Wolf Spiders are concealed deep in your work boots

Nothing starts first go without fixing it first
The ground gets so soft, with an insatiable thirst
It has sunk it all, the bobcat too
The patrol and a hire truck, just to name a few…

Granite boulders hang perilously up high
But glisten like diamonds below the frosty morning sky
An earthquake softly strikes here almost every year
But it’s the hot summer sun, that will break you out here…

You can trek out on foot, and go see it all
Six seasonal creeks spill down to our slippery waterfall
The Tiger Quolls hide down there, in their caves so deep
So be careful not to disturb them, they love their sleep...

Now heed my warning, never go out at night
You’ll hear it in the hills, it will give you a fright
For if you do, please tread with care….
You’re bound to encounter the deadly drop bear….
