World On Wheels leads motorcycle safaris to diverse destinations such as the Indian Himalaya, Nepal, Bhutan, Morocco, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Turkey, Peru-Chile-Bolivia, Mexico-Guatemala-Belize, South Africa and Iceland, all approximately three weeks in duration.

Mike and Denise Ferris own and operate World On Wheels, Australia's only professional tour company specialising solely in international motorcycle adventures. They personally guide and support each and every tour, into the world's most remote and exotic locations. Mike pioneered the Himalayan Motorcycle Safari concept in 1994 with his first crossing of the world's greatest mountain range by an Australian group of riders. In 1995, by now a qualified travel agent, he took his first commercial safari to the Khardung La in Ladakh (India), at 5,602 metres the highest motorable road in the world.

Our group size is typically 15 to 20 riders, with or without pillion partners. All tours are fully supported with a backup vehicle for your luggage, motorcycle mechanics to take care of your bike, a local tour escort who speaks the necessary language in the relevant country and of course either Mike or Denise, or both!
