More about Woodville District Table Tennis Club

The Woodville District Table Tennis Club (WDTTC), established as one of the first Table Tennis clubs in South Australia, has been at its current, spacious premises since 1960 just a few minutes NorthWest of Adelaide City up Port Road. South Australia's great Public Transport network is handy to WDTTC with Woodville Park Railway Station just around the corner and many buses nearby.

We have recently completed a fire safety upgrade to comply with the requirements of the City of Charles Sturt including four large newly renovated washrooms with two purpose built full access washrooms. Full Access, Safety and First Aid facilities installed including Defibrillator with qualified personnel available. Our clubrooms are at the rear of 39a Windsor Avenue, Woodville Park, down a laneway to the club's car park.

WDTTC is one of the top dedicated Table Tennis clubs in Australia, has 12 tables of competition standard and fields teams of all standards and abilities in the main fixtures Winter Pennant Competition conducted by Table Tennis S.A. Players range from beginners and Smash Hit players right through to Australian and World ranked players. We also run our own internal competitions during the Spring and Summer, which cater for players of all standards including beginners.

WDTTC has a successful junior and AWD coaching program headed by qualified Coaches on Friday nights and throughout the week. There are daytime sessions of social play on Wednesdays and Saturdays which are open to all. Table Tennis is also a good choice for low impact exercise needs. Table Tennis is one of the few sports in which the whole family and those of all ages and abilities can participate and enjoy together.

The ARPA Active Over 50s Table Tennis group meet here at Woodville District Table Tennis Club every Monday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. All levels of skill are catered for and beginners are most welcome. Keep yourself fit and make new friends.

Club Committee for 2016 is President: David Lowe, Secretary: Karen von Einem, Treasurer: Nada Hardi, Committee members: Kevin Malyschko, Audrey Swanbury, Richard Grant, Glenn Errington and Scott Hagel.
