Don Matheson and Alain Thilliez are WoodStreet. Together they maintain a
life long passion for interesting furniture and styles with extensive knowledge of the 20th Century designs. Alains’ French heritage inevitably lead them to France to import several containers of old and antique furniture, much of which was in the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles. Many of these pieces required complete
restoration. Through doing this they gained a practical understanding of
specific periods and styles. These skills are now applied first hand to all of
WoodStreets’ crafted furniture. Wood Street build individual pieces
according to our clients requirements. We do not produce in quantities or have
stock runs. Each piece is the result of a collaborative process between ourselves
and the client. By assessing and addressing your needs and likes, whilst drawing on our years of experience and knowledge a unique end product is guaranteed.
