The Wombat Hotel" was established in 1877 and holds the longest continuous liquor license in NSW.
The village of Wombat is renowned for its cherry production and was an historic gold mining area with a living history display contained in the historic Wombat Hotel.
There are still the odd remnants of diggings located on the landscape. Why don't you drop in at the Wombat Hotel for a refreshing drink and view the living history of this village. Wombat is also becoming known for its Australia Day Tractor Pull and markets and most recently, the Wombat Swap Meet on the long weekend in June.
