Witherswood Angus

Witherswood Angus is based at Taminick via Glenrowan, in the Warby Ranges and has been home to our Angus cattle for many years. Our breeding herd of 350 registered cows, has been developed using the best genetics, both Australian and imported, and the use of AI and ET has enabled us to stay at the forefront of the Cattle industry.

The Witherswood method has always been to use superior genetics, with particular emphasis on structure, growth, fertility and muscle. Structural assessment has always been a major part of our programme. This means we are highly focused on what you, the Bull buyer is looking for in a Bull.

We know only too well, that the heifers retained from a breeding programme are the basis for future success.

We were delighted to be acknowledged as a finalist in the 2016 RASV heifer challenge as part of the Victorian Stock & Land Beef Week.
