NETWORK SPINAL ANALYSIS (NSA)

NSA is unlike traditional Chiropractic methods, where the focus is to remove Vertibral Subluxations. Network care is a method that teaches your body, brain and nervous system new strategies to promote self re-organization so you can adapt more easily to life's stresses. Daily stresses (ie; physical, emotional, chemical) can create tension through the body, which can compromise our capacity to function at our optimum level. Long term tension patterns can arise in the form of anxiety, depression, poor digestion, poor immune system, muscular aches and pains.....the list goes on!
The stress of having too much to do and not enough time to do it is epidemic in our culture. Consistently high stress levels freeze the body in a "fight or flight" mode, tightening muscles, rounding shoulders, making breathing shallow, and limiting blood and oxygen to the parts of your brain responsible for relaxation, revitalization, creativity, and growth.
Proof of study have shown when these stressors rise to an overwhelming state, the mind/body will protect itself by locking these stressors into deep seated tension patterns stored and reflected in the shape, tone, and tension of your spine, muscles, organs, tissues and emotions.

NSA treatments are known as Entrainments, which are provided in an open plan room with multiple tables, where other clients are also receiving care. This combined energy enhances the momentum of the work.
The technique of NSA involves "gentle precise touch" contacts to your spine, which cues the brain to create new wellness promoting strategies to release and reorganize the tension patterns through the spine. Two unique healing waves develop with this work; they are associated with spontaneous release of spinal and life's tensions (respiratory wave), and the use of existing tension as fuel for spinal re­ organization and enhanced wellness (somata psychic wave).
During a treatment these waves may create a spontaneous, voluntary or involuntary urge for you to stretch, shift or move on the table. As these healing waves progress along your spine, they generally revitalize and help your body to self-correct distortions of alignment and posture.
The lightness of touch can be surprising, but the brain recognizes this as a gentle but powerful connection, which results in more awareness of the area and surrounding tension, and in response you begin to release and integrate this stored tension to move towards greater well-being.
