Windwoven Dreadlocks is your one stop shop for all things dreads in Tasmania! I am available for new dreadlock creation, maintenance and repairs, extensions, hair wraps and advice.

Come and visit me in beautiful Nicholls Rivulet and hang out in my mud brick studio in the forest.

I am professionally trained and have been working with dreadlocks for 10 years.

I use no back combing, no chemicals and no waxes. You will walk away with a beautiful mane of finished dreads. Your hair will soften and mature but your dreadlocks are fully formed when you leave. Dreads get better and better with age and time.

The process I use is very gentle on the hair and there is very minimal hair breakage.

I can tailor my style to your needs; some people like a more natural, random look, others need a neat and more professional style. I can give you all kinds of advice on care and styling.

Pricing depends on the length, volume and texture of your natural hair. I work on set prices so you will know exactly how much you will be up for, regardless of time taken. Come and see me or send through photos of your hair and I can give you a fixed quote.

Extensions are available in a huge range of colours and can be made any length. I usually part pre make them before your appointment so that you don't have to spend so much time in the chair. I offer human and synthetic extensions and I am happy to talk to you about all of your options as well as any questions you have on maintenance, washing, scalp care and colouring.

I love creating dread bling and I can make you detachable or permanent hair wraps, beading, natural wool felted add ins, feathers, beads, dangles, shells... I have a great collection of fun additions or bring your own special finds.
