Windsor Gardens Centre for Hearing Impaired.

Windsor Gardens Centre for Hearing Impaired is incorporated within the Windsor Gardens School B-12 and caters for students in years 8-12. The centre provides educational opportunities for students in both mainstream and small class settings. Students have full access to all curriculum areas and are supported in classes by Teachers of the Deaf and bilingual Schools services officers (BSSO). All CHI staff can communicate using Auslan which means that students in mainstream classes are able to access their learning in their first language. The centre also provides students with opportunities to learn more about the deaf community and become involved in deaf community events.
