Wide Bay Equestrian Park is a Horse Riding School, and home of the Baroque Horse stud ( of Aust) stud, and also a breeder of German Shepard Dogs for Family and Security.

Susan has been riding her whole life and has been training the Baroque breeds for over 23 years.
Susan managed the Spanish Riding Academy in WA for 5 yrs in the late 80's ,training amonst many the first ever imported Fresian stallion Lykle B, Hanoverian's and Andalusians and many riders who went onto State and National level riding.

Wide Bay Equestrian Park commenced in 1993 in Hervey Bay Qld. Training Riders and Horses in High School Dressage and General Riding and breeding the famous Baroque Breeds which include the famous Lippizaners , reknowned at the Spanish Riding school in Vienna and the famous Dancing horses the Andalusian also famous in the bullrings of Spain.

Wide Bay Equestrian Park has competed at local, State and National Levels at the Andalusian and Baroque Championships. Being successful at winning numerous Supreme Champion titles in all areas of Riding and Handheld classes.

Tahnee and Keira McLeod, Susan's daughters, have excelled in their riding of all horses at WBEP, also extending their experience to breaking in and re-educating horses. So if you have a problem horse, or need a horse broken in, in a safe and distress free environment, feel free to give us a call.

Our love for horses doesnt just revolve around these breeds, but also horses from the doggers and rescue horses.
We often adopt and save horses from the dogger yards or abused homes and re-home them after rehabilitation has occured, whether that be fattening up, retraining or getting them to regain their trust with humans again.

Wide Bay Equestrian Park offeres not just horse riding lessons ( private or group sessions) but also
Horse Breaking ; This service is done by Keira McLeod.
The horses are taught/introduced to flatwork/jumping/trails and mustering ( if cows are needed to be mustered at the time of breaking)

We also offer agistment for horses at a rate of $2 pw) in the paddock
Extras can be included for your horse, such as;
Stabling. Feeding, Rugging, washing
Exercising and Training can also be arranged ( on lunge or ridden work )
You will have access to all our facilites, sporting equipment, trails and the areana which is included in the $3/day.

GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS

WBEP also breeds the wonderful German Shepards Dogs. Loyal and Obedient they are wonderful for family and Security.
Our German Shepards are also working dogs on our property ( 206 acres ), acting as security for our home and property.
