Wicklow House

Wicklow House is located just over 1.5 hrs out of Melbourne. Prices start from $230 pn Sun-Thurs $300 pn Fri & Sat for 6 people staying $20 per night per extra people. Prices vary for peak periods.
Our rustic 5 bedroom mud-brick home has many unique design features throughout including beautiful stained glass windows, wonderful recycled timbers and doors, with a view that you have to see to truly appreciate.

Sitting on the porch and taking in the amazing sunsets is a must. The whole 53 acres of bushland is yours to relax and enjoy.

All bedrooms offer mountain or garden views to wake up to, in the serene bush setting with kangaroos enjoying their breakfast on the front lawn and the native birds starting the day.

Our two living spaces provide you with ample room to spread out.

Living Space One

Open plan kitchen complete with all you need to cook up a storm, lounge and dining area with enough seating for 14 people.

There is a wood heater for the cooler months and air-con for those hot days.

This space offers guests a quiet TV free adult space to relax with a coffee, good book or a glass of wine enjoying a chat with friends.

Living Space Two

Now this is your entertaining area, with TV, DVD player, HDMI lead and USB port for movies, Bluetooth Stereo, Wifi, Piano, Guitar and another wood heater and air-con.

Also is a mezzanine with a Pool table and plenty of board games to play.
Ideal space for groups including artists and music lovers to come together for a weekend.

The Outdoors
While you are at Wicklow House make the most of the great outdoors and cook on the gas BBQ supplied and in the evening sit around the outdoor fire listening to the sounds of the bush gazing at the stars.

Plenty of space for a good old game of backyard cricket or footy match and we supply a badminton/volley ball set and balls for a kick around.

Enjoy a peaceful walk around the property and let yourself unwind in our beautiful surrounds.

Local area of Bendigo and Heathcote

You will be surprised to know the local town of Strathfieldsaye is only 10 min away where you can get all the essentials that you need.

Surrounding areas include Lake Eppalock with its many water activities to get involved in.

Visit the Axedale Tavern 15 min down the road or go for a hit at the Axedale golf course.

Heathcote is only 30 mins away where you can check out the farmers market, restaurants and quaint shops.
Organise yourself a tour at one of the many wineries in the local area which includes Sutton Grange and the Silver Spoon Estate.

The historic towns of Castlemaine and Maldon are both within a 20 minute drive away and well worth a visit.

Bendigo is 25 min away and is a vibrant contemporary city, boasting beautiful streets, offering a wide range of activities for everyone.
