White Truffle Festival Tour November 2016

Join restaurant critic and food editor Rob Broadfield and the experienced team from luxury travel specialists Travel With Purpose, for a week of festivals, ancient Tuscan towns, truffle hunting, long table lunches under the Tuscan sun, cooking master-classes with Rob and local chefs, olive oil pressings and the shopping and markets of nearby Florence.

The centrepiece of this wonderful week will be a visit to the Annual San Miniato Truffle Festival, run over just two weekends in November, and a series of authentic dining experiences designed specifically for our small group..

We’ll be staying in the heritage listed ancient village of Artimino, which has been re-imagined as luxury, boutique accommodation and is our home in Tuscany for the seven days. It is an easy 40 minute drive west of Florence and nestles in the famous and romantic Florentine Hills.

This is truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips – a journey to the very heart of Tuscan life, food, wine, cooking and, of course, white truffle.

A trip to Tuscany wouldn’t be the same it you couldn’t relax and enjoy the serenity, which is why we’ve created a suite of exciting side tours and trips which are entirely optional. Prefer to read a book all day or perhaps have a lunch somewhere special, it’s up to you.
