A beautiful old Victorian Farm House circa 1900 is resting in a relaxed rural setting just on the outskirts of the quaint township of Winchelsea.

About the region:

The town is steeped in history, and set on the banks of the Barwon River.

Relaxing on this country property is a holiday in itself, but for those seeking more activity you will find this in easy reach.

Winchelsea is only 30 minutes away from the white sandy beaches of Lorne, and 15 minutes from the renowned local winery Mount Duneed Estate.

It is the perfect home base from which to explore the Great Ocean Road and venture up to the Otway National Park.

If you prefer to stay in the local area, the quaint towns of Deans Marsh and Birregurra are only a stone’s throw away. There you can sample local wines and produce, and have lunch in one of the local restaurants and cafes.

The main house:

Rarely will you find a Victorian Country home restored to such perfection. The Main House is a large 3 bedroom home, with immaculate open plan kitchen, two lounge areas, a dining room and study.

The Main House boasts two outdoor entertaining areas, and of course ample veranda space on which to sit with your morning coffee.

In the evening warm your bones in the lounge room in front of the inviting wood burning heater.

The Guest House:

This bright and airy weatherboard Guest House is a separate and fully equipped house with its own bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, dining and lounge areas.

It is an excellent modern extension of the main house for larger groups, or can be the perfect place for the kids to sleep, giving you some well deserved peace and quiet!

The Guest House also boasts ample outdoor entertaining space, with a spacious deck at the rear complete with open fire, BBQ, table and lounge area.

Pet friendly:

The lovely surroundings will make your holiday a truly memorable one and this is especially true if your best friends happen to have four legs.

Well behaved pets are very welcome and your canine friends will enjoy the long walks and proximity to the Barwon River and beaches.
There are two resident horses, as well as chickens so look forward to fresh eggs daily!
