Whadabout Sculptures

Keith Jackson was born into a family of Blacksmiths in Redhill, South Australia. He is known for his engineering skills in welding and metal work as well as for his use of recycled steel.

Keith has been creating sculptures that are unique and sources his materials from local farming properties that were settled in the mid 1800’s to early 1900’s. He draws his inspiration from a lifetime of working with metal and knowledge passed onto him through the generations.

His interest and passion in the history of farm machinery from the early days of settlement in the area has led him to collecting carts, headers and all forms of items used on the land for various purposes.

Keith's sculptures and artworks are found in both indoor and outdoor spaces. They are distinctive and full of history whilst engaging with the surrounding space and natural light.
