West Kids Occupational Therapy

West Kids Occupational Therapy is a community and home based therapy service for children of all ages. We provide service in your home, at school/childcare/kindergarten and in the community.

Your Occupational Therapist
Sarah Mathews is an occupational therapist with over 9 years of experience working with children, families and schools.

Graduating from Deakin University with Honours, Sarah has extensive experience working in the education and disability sectors.

Sarah is passionate about providing family centred services to help children, families and educators to problem solve and build their capacity to achieve their goals.

Sarah's sessions focus on utilising play (one of the primary occupations of childhood) and evidence based approaches as a vehicle for learning and skill development. Her special interests include fine motor skill development, sensory processing and its effect on children's day to day activities, social skills and play skill development.

Sarah is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and is approved to provide services under Medicare and the NDIS.
