We use world class Komatsu graders, Caterpillars, topcon level gear and GPS leveling technology for stabalised pavment trimming, line clearing, contour bank building and professional earth moving road maintenance equipment we are known and trusted for.
Company History

W.D. Howell Road Construction Pty Ltd was established by Warren Howell in May 2000 after over 27 years in earthmoving and road construction, of which 8 years was spent with the Main Roads Department as a grader operator. Since 2000, W.D. Howell Road Construction Pty Ltd has provided services primarily to Quilpie Shire Council encompassing all aspects of road construction and maintenance. Warren Howell maintains a hands-on role within the business as a grader operator and direct supervisor of employees.

W.D. Howell Road Construction Pty Ltd provide grader hire and earth works equipment to a large area of queensland, including Chinchilla, Emerald, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Ipswitch, Beaudesert, Warrick, Goondiwindi, ST George, Charleville, Roma & Longreach.
Health, Safety & Environment Management

W.D. Howell Road Construction Pty Ltd has developed and implemented a comprehensive risk based Health, Safety and Environment Management System which includes a Work Health and Safety Procedures Manual, Environment Management Plan and an Emergency Plan. Employees are trained in pertinent sections applicable to their roles via induction and ongoing training.
Training

All current W.D. Howell Road Construction Pty Ltd employees have attained the Cert III in Civil Construction, with Warren Howell and Benjiman Howell also holding the Cert III in Plant and Machinery and RoadTek VOC. New employees undertake a structured training program.

W.D. Howell Road Construction Pty Ltd holds Certificates of Currency for all plant, vehicles and $20,000,000 Public Liability cover.
