Wayatinah Tavern and Store

We are a small Tavern and store located in the Hydro town of Wayatinah.

We took over the business from Kerrie & Andrew McCallum on the 1st February 2017 and would like to recognise their efforts in building the business up to what it is today.

A short distance from The Wayatinah Tavern is the Wayatinah Lakeside Caravan Park which is a great place for you and your kids to stay with a lake, Pool, Tennis courts and great fishing.

The Wayatinah General Store in the village operates on reduced hours but generally the shop is open from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm then again from 3:30 pm, when it is accessible from the Tavern.

The shop stocks a wide range of canned and frozen goods as well as general shop lines. Fresh or frozen meat and ice are available but there are no fresh vegetables.

Petrol and diesel are available.

For the fisherman, licenses and some fishing gear are available.

The Tavern is open from 3:30pm until closing depending on custom, generally 8 or 9:00pm but may be earlier if there is no one around.

The tavern is more a club than a pub and the atmosphere is friendly and warm.
Both are easy walking distance from the Caravan Park.
