Walhalla Community Gardens

Working with the support of our local shire ( Baw Baw Shire )and Parks Victoria, our small volunteer group maintain Gardens which we call "community gardens" this is because the are planted in public space for everyone from visitors to residents to enjoy. Some of the gardens we look after are those near the Walhalla War Memorial, Masonic Lodge, Jacombs cottage and include 2 car parks and roadway and tree plantings through out the town including near the town centre and stringers creek park.

Please note all the work you see is done by volunteers, and MAJORITY of the plants and tree have been donated to the group and the town or have been fundraised for. Thankyou to all those who have donated including Nurseries and Social groups as we as the individuals such as you!
