VMR 448 Mackay

VMR Mackay is on hand 24 hrs a day 7 days a week to assist the community in times of need from estuary to open water. Our rescue crews are volunteers who are trained and who willingly give up their time, family time and most often their work time to assist those in need. We also have volunteer radio operators who monitor marine radios 7 days a week and activate rescue crews when required. We welcome new members and there are volunteer positions available now!
