Once you step onto the roller coaster, you are hooked on the thrill of pulling a deal together and the anticipation of achieving someone's dream. The excitement of signing a contract and handing over the keys is nothing compared to the satisfaction of seeing the smiles on peoples' faces as they begin a new chapter of their lives. It is quite often the only thing that keeps you going when dramas turn into disaster and, as the one in the middle, it's your job to break bad news!
I began in real estate in 2007 at a time when my children entered their independence and I needed a new challenge in life. I had dabbled in advertising and marketing BC (before children) and the real estate gene may have been lying dormant until the right time in my life. My parents had a real estate agency when I was in my early teens so I have memories of my mother writing and re-writing contracts while my father raced from meeting to meeting. I think my father had to get into real estate as he was always buying land, building beautiful homes, establishing lovely gardens - then selling them!
The opportunity offered to me by VIEW has been wonderful. As a Partner with a group of extremely professional and ethically like-minded people, I have been able to work towards building a fantastic business based on attention to detail, client satisfaction and, of course, lots of smiling people!

Being a Property Consultant is a massive responsibility, the thrill of having both Vendor and Purchaser be satisfied with a business or property transaction or having to be the bearer of hard news when something has gone awry, makes for never a dull moment. Ann Courtenay and I work together as a team, meaning our clients can always reach someone who is up-to-date with the progress of their sale or purchase; they may receive twice as much exposure as a single agent, with our different networks, and obtain both a female’s and male’s point of VIEW and approach for marketing, negotiations and advice. I was born in VIC, grew up in WA and have lived in TAS for 13 years, my favourite time is spent with my amazing partner Rana and extremely entertaining daughter Grace, preferably somewhere near the bush and ocean.
