Velodrome Ride In Cinema

The Coburg Velodrome ‘Ride In Cinema’ is Australia’s only outdoor cinema experience designed specifically to encourage its audience to ride their bikes literally right into the movies.

Located at the iconic Coburg Velodrome, audience members can expect a truly unique experience watching cult classics and new releases under the stars against the industrial backdrop of Coburg Norths factory district.

The site is within short walking distance from Batman train station and Sydney Road trams, with ample on site car parking and secure bicycle stations within the Velodrome itself.

Operating every Saturday night in February, the program kicks off with the critically acclaimed new Star Wars release ‘Rogue One on Saturday 4th, followed by family classic E.T. on the 11th Feb, critically acclaimed Oscar nominated La La Land18th of February and finishing off with the Cohen Brothers comedy hit ‘The Big Lewbowski’.

In addition to film screenings the Velodrome will host numerous food trucks and a custom built cocktail and candy bar.
