Twamley Farm is a 7,000 acre working farm situated on the Tea Tree Rivulet just outside of Buckland. The Turvey family has been operating Twamley Farm since 1874. The original sandstone homestead built in 1842 sits at the top of the valley and is a former home to famous 19th century Tasmanian artist and writer Louisa Anne Meredith. Twamley Farm began offering a visitor experience through farm visits and accommodation in November 2015.

Twamley Farm offers fully self-contained accommodation in beautifully restored historic buildings including extensive gourmet mini bar, full breakfast provisions featuring local Tasmanian produce, gourmet picnic packs available on request for exploring the farm or visiting Maria Island.

There is a range of walks, mountain bike trails and mountain bikes for guest use. These are well sign posted and are of a varying degree of difficulty.
