I was ill about 30 years ago. Very ill. I saw doctors, hospital consultants and specialists, and I took the drugs they told me to take . . . and I got sicker. I felt I was losing my career, my friends, and ultimately my life.

I was forced to look outside the system for help, because the system was killing me.

I explored a number of options, but they all had one thing in common: "Find out what the underlying cause is, and treat that"

How obvious! This was a real light bulb moment for me. Why would you want to address disease in any other way . . . and so began my long journey into good health for myself, and into gaining the qualifications, knowledge and experience I need to help others.

The tools I use are:

1. In depth assessment. I want to know everything. Present symptoms, past medical history, lifestyle, diet social history etc.

2. A guided, step by step, straightforward, personally tailored program addressing diet, lifestyle and emotional health.

3. Nutritional supplements or herbal medicine as required.

4. Intuition and empathy.
