Tru Taekwondo

TRU Taekwondo teaches a style of Taekwondo based on Chung Do Kwan philosophy, using both the hands and feet for self-defence and fitness.

TRU Taekwondo is a family owned and run club that is all about the true spirit of Taekwondo. Our Instructors are dedicated to their students and ensure they improve their fitness, confidence and self defence skills, as well as having fun and building friendships while training.

All our Instructors have been involved in Taekwondo for more than 15 years, hold Coaching Accreditation through Taekwondo Australia Inc. have Police checks through DCIS, are First Aid qualified and have participated in both Sparing and Poomsae (patterns) competitions at State, National and International level.

We train on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and Friday and Saturday mornings, at our new fully matted training centre at Unit 4, 77 Greenwith Road, Golden Grove.

The first two lessons are free, with no obligation. There are no lock in contracts, ever, and we have payment options for individuals, as well as families.
Our casual lessons are only $15 and we have monthly options too. We are also registered to accept the Sport Vouchers through the Office for Recreation and Sport.

Because we are part of Sports Taekwondo Australia, South Australian division, our students have the opportunity, if they choose, to take part in the STA State Training and Development program, for both Poomsae and Sparing, State competitions and the Taekwondo Australia Festival and National competition, held every year in different states around Australia.

So come and try something that will give you and your children, skills and friendships that will stay with them for life.

All you need to do is to wear loose, comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and give it a go!
