“We wanted to expand on the success of our evening restaurant which is more of a fine dining
experience, to include a modern, yet casual option for seafood during the day”, explains Chef Sechi.

The new name Sardinia is a both reference to Sechi’s hometown the island of Sardinia, off the coast of Italy and towards his passion for promoting sustainable fish species. Sardinia will continue Sechi’s passion for promoting local and Australian produce, stocking only sustainable catch sourced by local fishermen and all food freshly made in-house, including dips and salads.

Sardinia provide widespread appeal for locals looking for a healthy takeout option on the go, or a quick eat-in meal. The lunch menu offer a selection of freshly prepared seafood snacks for those wanting a bite to eat while exploring the markets.
For those wanting to eat lunch across the road at the beach, a variety of “Sardinia Boxes” offering both hot and cold options are ideal to share.

During the day Sardinia will cater for the whole family, with all kids’ options modestly priced under the $10.00 mark. The kid’s menu will feature Rigatoni pasta chips – a kid-friendly cross between chips and pasta, a unique creation Chef's creation

The interior of Sardinia is refined and modern, but maintain rustic undertones indicative of a seaside-style marketplace. Terracotta tiling, dark wooden beams and stone wall features will frame the dining area. The exhibition-style open kitchen and sleek marble counter tops give the seafood shop and restaurant an understated sophistication.
