Welcome to Tranquility Bay Massage Facebook page, it's great to see you here :) I am a home based business in the gorgeous sea side town of Toogoom near Hervey Bay. I provide a visiting service to Maclagan every 6 to 8 weeks starting from the end of April 2017. Visiting dates will be advised on this page, on my website and posters will be displayed around Maclagan as well.

I offer a professional therapeutic massage service aimed to relax and assist you to feel fabulous. Massage has so many wonderful benefits such as:-

At this time a health fund rebate is not offered. Eftpos facilities are available, a small transaction fee of $0.35 for debit and 1.6% on credit card transactions.

My techniques:

I’ve perfected my own techniques which are a combination of Swedish, Chinese and Remedial. I have found my techniques to be effective for most people. I like to communicate with my client and ensure the pressure being used is comfortable. If you fall asleep I won’t talk to you unless I need too and I gently wake you at the end of the session.

A little about me:

My name is Melissa & this is my story (the condensed version ). I grew up in farming communities around the Darling Downs & the North Burnett region with my parents & 4 sisters. I began my working life in 2000 as a trainee in business administration, that same year I met the wonderful man I'm now married too for a while I worked as a family day carer, then short order cook, then administration & bookkeeping for a mechanic, then a child care worker. During the last job I battled illness which made me rethink my life path. That's when I decided I needed to do the one job that I had a passion for - natural healing. Between jobs we were blessed with three daughters :) I studied through the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences in 2014 then opened my home based massage business in 2016. Every week my little business is growing a little more.

From the end of April 2017 I will be providing a massage service to the small farming community of Maclagan on the Darling Downs and their surrounding townships every 6 to 8 weeks. I will advise when I will be closed in Toogoom to provide this service.

I appreciate every one of you who supports my business. I am a small business, its clients like you who help pay the bills, put food on the table and keep a roof over my family’s head. Thank-you I look forward to working with & getting to know you all.

Massage Services:

I provide time limited massage services of 30 to 120 minutes. Details and prices can be found in the services tab. I also offer couples packages which allow two people to book consecutive appointments and receive a bonus gift.

A new foot pampering service will be available. This service can be either a stand-alone service or as an add on to a body massage service. This service can be viewed in the services tab also.

There is a short consultation at the beginning and new clients are required to complete a client intake form. Your timed service starts from the moment you are on the massage table so you receive the full amount of time you have booked being massaged. New clients also receive a welcome bag filled with important information and a little treat to say thank-you for your support.

Back to Nature

I also stock Back to Nature products which can be seen in the shop tab on the Tranquility Bay Massage - Toogoom page. These are available for purchase online or in person. Most of these products are hand made by an Aromatherapist based in Bundaberg using all natural products.
