Dr. Tracy Mcnab (Chinese Medicine) has been practising alternative therapies since 1988, she is qualified with a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Patent Remedies and a Diploma in Remedial Massage.
In 2009 Tracy completed an internship and advanced studies program at the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China, where she studied and worked along side some of the most prestigious doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) furthering her knowledge in gynaecology and infertility, food allergy & intolerance, mental depression and emotional imbalances, muscular skeletal disorders, back, neck, shoulder and knee pain, cosmetology, stroke, pain management for cancer and in paediatric departments of various hospitals in the Nanjing Provence.
Based on the (TCM) diagnosis, acupuncture points or muscle groups are chosen to correct the pathology in order to regulate the flow of qi and blood to balance the functions of the body, mind and spirit to restore health. The acupuncture points are stimulated with fine needles, heat, moxibustion, gentle electrical stimulation, guasha, suction cups or physical pressure. Dietary advice and exercises can be recommended depending on the therapeutic needs of the patient.
Tracy is fully qualified and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a current member of The Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd (AACMA) and The Australian Natural Therapists Association Limited (ANTA).
