It is in the space and beauty of the Southwest of Western Australia that I have been able to reconnect with God and painting for me is a intuitive and natural process that celebrates this relationship.
Inspiration is provided from this source in the form of a feeling, emotion or a title for a painting. The idea usually presents itself! This all happens in the moment flowing from my feelings, as I imagine and perceive something greater than myself.
I have formal training in graphic design but as a painter I am mostly self-taught. This allows me to keep evolving my own unique style using
mixed media, acrylic and dye.
Each painting is an experiment in technique, in communicating a message, a lesson in trust and a mirror to my own spiritual growth. This creative process continually deepens my relationship with God and is done in partnership with this force.
