Tracey’s Horse Riding was established in 1987. We are situated on 20 acres of cleared land. We run sixteen horses from 9hh to 15.3, which cater for tiny tots through to adults. We run after school lessons, group lessons, adult lessons, tiny-tot/lead line (2-6 years) lessons, we also do private lessons and trail rides by appointment. We also run weekend camps throughout the term, and five day residential camps during the school holidays, catering for children 5 through 16 years. We take beginners, riders, boys and girls, and have horses and ponies to suit all abilities. Our camps consist of two ridden lessons per day, lunchtime and evening activities, and all food inclusive. Children are exposed to lots of hands on experiences; feeding, mucking out, grooming, saddling and general horse care. Our facilities include: dorm-style accommodation, a 20x40 arena, round-yard, reserve bushland bridle paths and a shaded grandstand area for viewing. We also have a selection of modern jumps for the more experienced riders.
Tracey has been riding for 40 years, in which she has been competing for the same amount of time. She has spent six summers instructing in the United States of America, and one summer instructing in Wales. Tracey now events all over the state, and her two small children are also involved in Pony Club and small competitions.
Tracey also works at the local Primary School where she has been an Education Assistant for the last 27 years. She holds a current first aid certificate, working with children’s check, and is experienced and qualified in riding instruction.
