Besides the shapers there are many other people that contribute to making the surfboard of today.

Take Town & Country for example: there is one in house shaper, Bruno Buzzolan/”The Buzz” (known for his quality throughout channels, stubby fishes and pro-boards). He is a mentor and inspiration to his fellow shapers, co-workers and team riders. Then we have Robert Fenech/”Gypo” (short for Gypsy) an Enigma from Broken Head. He is our reclusive shaper with an eye for perfection. Their shapes have led many Pro – Surfers to the heights of victory.

In addition to our two shapers there are our all important champion laminators, Gary Burmester with over 30 years experience and Michael McLennan. Their brilliant work reflects the standards T&C has grown accustomed to. Our temperature controlled glassing room and their skills combined gives optimum strength to weight ratios and consistent curing times thus producing the highest of standard laminates in the WORLD. Roy Meisel has always been a part of the surf industry. His history dates way back to where he used to own his own surfboard label “Bare Nature”. He is our stick on / hot seal Fin Man, Gloss Coater and much more.

Our Sander Paul Goffett (Surl), is amongst the best sanders in the WORLD, with over 30 years experience makes him the competent and efficient worker he is for daily production. Alonzo Punker’s dream was to one day work for T&C. His clothes and car reflect his attitude: “Surfing Is My Life” and “One Day I’ll Get A Real Job” and he did! Alonzos’ enthusiasm and general stockedness pumped us all up. His Sprays speak for themselves … Like Wow Wipe Out! Surfboard Art is an unbelievable bargain with customers getting radically creative art for a fraction of its true value.

Paul Carden is our Gloss Coater / Polisher with a magic touch, 18 years of experience has primed his abilities to perfection. Peter Grover is our finisher. He and Paul polish the boards to an excellent glossy texture that by far out shines any competition (competition what’s that?) Darren Birch (Bundi) is the outstanding Fin Control Systems installer, and Fin and Filler dude. He is multi skilled also doing laminations over the 22 years he has worked in the surfboard industry.

With all these people making surfboards in one factory it takes even more people to keep the flow going. Sales are made, bills are paid, materials ordered, production scheduled, boards packed, boards delivered, accounts serviced, etc etc.

Doug Unger (The Proprietor, Boss and Chief), Michelle Morrison (His sidekick Office Manager) Are these very valuable people that make the business the “Happening” prosperous industry that it is today.
